Tsubaki is a modern izakaya in Echo Park, Los Angeles…with Japanese roots and a California state of mind. The Japanese charcoal grill is at the heart of our menu, along with creative seasonal specials.  Our sake list rotates regularly, with a focus on small, family-run producers doing thoughtful work all across Japan. 

Tsubaki has been a Michelin Bib Gourmand since 2018, and are regularly represented in the LA Times 101 Best Restaurants.
